The Coatesville Fire Department is a combination department comprised of volunteer and career staff firefighters. Each station is staffed 24hrs a day with a career firefighter and is supplemented by volunteer firefighters.

Ladder 41: 1969 85-foot midship American La France ladder truck. This ladder has a 1250-gallon per minute pump and holds 300-gallon of water. This truck was originally a gasoline engine and was converted to diesel in 1989 as well as being converted from manual transmission to automatic. It has a full complement of ground ladders; ventilation equipment and hand tools as well as attack hose and supply hose. Currently this piece serves the role as reserve ladder for the Coatesville Fire Department. |

Engine 41-1: 1983 American La France pumper is utilized as the attack engine for the Coatesville Fire Department. This piece has 500 gallons of water and is pumped by a 1500 gallon per minute pump. 41-1 holds 4 men and has 1200 feet of 3 inch hose, 3 150 foot 1 3/4 attack lines, 2 200 feet 1 3/4 attack lines and 200 feet of 2 1/2 inch hose for use as a leader line. As well as hand tools, 2 grounds ladders and ventilation equipment, 41-1 also has 8 Scott Airpac 45 min SCBA's and 8 spare bottles for the SCBA's. |

Engine 41-2: 1995 Salsbury pumper is utilized as the primary water supply engine for the Coatesville Fire Department. This piece has 750 gallons of water and is also pumped by a 1500 gallon per minute pump. 41-2 holds 6 men and has 1500 feet of LDH (5inch) hose as well as 3 150 feet 1 3/4 inch attack lines, 2 200 foot 1 3/4 attack lines and a 150 foot 1 3/4 trash line located on the front bumper. The truck has an assortment of hand tools, ventilation equipment, electrical cords and 90 gallons of foam. 41-2 carries 8 Scott Airpac 45 min SCBA's with 8 spare bottles. |

Rescue 43: 1992 Salsbury medium duty rescue on a Mack chassis is the primary rescue truck for the City of Coatesville and the Coatesville Fire Department. This truck has a complete set of Hurst extrication equipment, air bags, 6 bottle cascade system rated for high pressure usage, electrical generator with full compliment of electrical accessories and 4 Scott Airpac 45 min SCBA's. This truck can perform all aspects of extrication and rescue and is utilized by mutual aid companies as well. |

Ladder 43: 1977 American La France 100-foot midship ladder truck currently serves the role as primary ladder and ventilation piece for the Coatesville Fire Department and surrounding communities. Ladder 43 has 300 gallons of water and is pumped by a 1500 gallon per minute pump. Ladder 43 has a full compliment of ground ladders, ventilation equipment, hand tools and electrical accessories. The truck holds 4 men, and has 7 Scott Airpac 45 minute SCBA's. |
