2 Alarm House Fire In Coatesville City

Two (2) - Alarm Row Home Fire in Coatesville City

On March 21st, 2025, at 11:17 Coatesville Fire Department along with area mutual aid were dispatched to the 300 block of S. 1st Avenue in Coatesville City for a house fire.

Coatesville Fire Department units made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported flames from the rear of a house. Additional callers reported 2 homes involved in fire.

Coatesville Fire Department units arrived to find a block of row homes and advised that a 3rd house was now involved. Ladder 41 and Engine 41's crew began fire suppression efforts along with searches of the involved structures.

Chief 41 (Huf) arrived and assumed command for this incident and requested a 2nd alarm. As the mutual aid units arrived, they were given their assignments from the commander. Battalion 41 (Lamb) arrived and took the operations role for the fire scene.
