On April 30th stations 41, 43 and ambulance 41-3 responded to 99 ninth ave for a automatic fire alarm at roughly 530am. Ladder 43 arrived on location and upon search of the building found light smoke conditions in the basement and upgraded the call to a building fire. Engine 43 arrived on location and connected to the water supply as Battalion 41A arrived on location and established ninth ave command. Engine 76 arrived and provided extra manpower as the fire was placed under control. Building was searched and then ventilated and all crews made available at roughly 630am.
