Mallozzi 5K Event

Chester County Special Olympics Event.

On Friday May 8th hundreds of athletes arrived at CASH to compete in the 2015 Chester County Special Olympics. All of the participates had a great time and everyone who was a part of this day went home as winners! Already looking forward to next years event!

Washington Hose Company No.1 Improvement Projects Continue!!

The Washington Hose Company No.1 is in the process of replacing the entire front ramp of our station. The old ramp had cracks and separation along with heavy use since the building was completed in 1987. The new ramp will be stronger and will support the needs of the station and commnuity for several years.... (Full Story & Photos)

United Way Color Run!!

On Sunday April 26th the Washington Hose Company No.1 EMS, along with Medic 93, provided standby services for this years United Way Color Run. The event was held in Caln Township along G.O Carlson Blvd in which over 900 participants made the event. Thank You to the United Way and Medic 93 for the invite and support. Special Dinner and Prayer for CFD.

EMS Chief Scott Thornton, April 14

On the evening of Tuesday April 14th the on duty EMS and Fire crews were treated to a home cooked dinner by the Traveling Prayer group that is comprised of several local community churches. Once the dinner was completed a special prayer was provided by the prayer group in providing all of the CFD responder's health and safety and for their own homes while protecting the community.
