Daylight saving time to end; change batteries in smoke alarms!!!!

Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday morning. That means that you need to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed tonight.

You should also change the batteries in your smoke detectors. Every year there are fire fatalities that occur in homes that didn't have smoke alarms, or where the alarms did not function because of dead batteries. If you do not have a smoke alarm, you need ... (Full Story & Photos)

Kmart Safety Day

Kidde Product Safety Notice

Walter Kidde Portable Equipment Inc. (“Kidde”) in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a voluntary recall to replace certain Kidde AC/DC smoke alarms and combination smoke/carbon monoxide alarms. Reminder that the local schools are now back in session and the children will be walking to the various schools. Please keep in mind that when the red lights are flashing on the school buses that traffic in both directions are required to stop!!
