House Fire 752 East Chestnut

Stations 41 & 43 were dispatched to 752 East Chestnut for a reported house fire. Ambulance 41-2 arrived on location reporting smoke showing from both 752 and 754 East Chestnut. Engine company arrived and stretched 1 3/4 handline to 752 and found the kitchen in the rear of the first floor on fire. The engine company then checked the second floor for any extension. Chester County EMS Council Clinical Save Award.

The following members and staff of the Washington Hose Company EMS, Coatesville Fire and Coatesville Police department will be honored with a Clinical Save Award at this years EMS Awards Banquet on May 22nd, 2014. Last year in November this team responded to a cardiac arrest incident in which the patient was able to make a recovery and then was discharged from the hospital to their home.
